For women, there's both a pressing need for attaining financial security and a huge potential for success in the financial services industry.  But there's work to do in communicating to women what the financial services industry can do for them.  And that's where Georgette steps in!

Georgette appeared on NBC Connecticut News where she was interviewed by Kerri-Lee Mayland. Georgette spoke about “How Women Can Take Charge of Their Financial Future.”  The conversation focused on how women need to have a financial plan, how much money women should be saving and the importance of having a financial strategy, especially in the event of loss of a spouse or a disability occurs. (Aired 1/2017)

Georgette was invited back to the NBC Studios where she did a segment on “Save, Spend and Give in which she discussed how we can educate children about saving money. (Aired 2/2017)

Georgette returned to the NBC Connecticut studio where she was again interviewed by Kerri-Lee Mayland.  She did a session on “Women's Financial Fitness.”  This segment focused on how women can stay financially fit by working with an advisor, creating a plan and understanding what it means to have a budget. (Aired 3/2017)

When Georgette visited the set in April 2017, she shared a seasonal topic; “Last Minute Tax Ideas You Can Use Now” as we were approaching the deadline to submit taxes to the IRS.

In addition to Georgette providing financial knowledge, she continuously promotes the opportunity to hire women in our industry.  Recently, Georgette was featured on an Après Podcast.  Après Group is a company that redefines how women return to or transition within the workforce by offering inspiring content, tools to successfully navigate your transition, a roster of the very best career coaches and a diverse job market. Georgete talked about the financial professional opportunities for women at Equitable Advisors.

Georgette continues to tap into a host of networking events.  Most recently she participated in the Women in Innovation Forum in which Equitable Advisors was a sponsor.  Her topic focused on “Conquering New Territories” and highlighted how we as women need to embrace technology more and hone in on our time management.

Georgette's time management skills are always being tested however because she excels at this, it doesn't seem to be a problem.  She ended April by making a guest appearance at Equitable Advisors Recruiting Summit where she spoke about “Diverse Marketing; Hiring Women” and made time for 50 women who attended a Lunch and Learn where Georgette did a presentation on “Informed Women Know More.”
